Kellie Hush has pleasantly surprised us here at RLC HQ. We were a little wary of her taking the helm at Harpers Bazaar, but like the direction her first issue has taken.
With a cleaner layout, Hush looks to reaffirm Bazaar's central pillar of elegance - evidenced throughout the issue.
Highlights for us included the "Warmest wishes" feature - industry insiders giving tips for winter dressing; an endearing article from Meghan O'Rourke entitled "Wish you were here"about how her mother's closet gave her solace in the months after her passing; a look inside Iris Apfel's apartment and Godfrey Deeny's ode to one-woman dynamo Frida Giannini in "Gucci's Girl".
We loved Miranda Kerr in the Ready, Set... Go Olympics-inspired editorial, shot by Anthony Maule and styled by Vanessa Coyle.
Can't wait for the September issue!
